Opus is pleased to have advised Hanab on its acquisition of Green Frog Connect, a Bristol-based Independent Connection Provider (ICP) focused on the design, delivery and connection of high voltage infrastructure for the renewables, industrial and utilities markets.

Green Frog Connect becomes part of Hanab Energy Solutions, one of the Netherlands’ leading electricity infrastructure contractors, delivering major transmission and energy infrastructure projects up to 380kV. The acquisition marks an important step in Hanab’s international growth strategy and establishes a strong platform for the group in the UK’s fast-growing energy infrastructure market.

The transaction underscores Opus' connectivity in the energy services sector, as well as Opus' commitment to supporting clients on strategic cross-border growth opportunities. This is Opus' second successful buyside ICP transaction in the last year, having also advised Three Hills Capital Partners on its investment in Sinewave.
