Stuart joined Opus in 2008 and focuses on the sustainability sector. Areas of particular sector focus include renewable energy, smart grids, electric vehicles, energy efficiency, advanced materials and environmental services.
Recent transaction experience includes advising Breathe Energy on its sale to Imtech (part of EDF); advising AgilityEco on its partnership with Bridges; advising Chargepoint Services on its sale to Engie; and advising electricity storage technology company Highview on successive fund raisings. Stuart also advised Estover Energy on funding to its three biomass CHP power stations and has advised the infrastructure fund JLEN and Future Biogas in relation to the acquisition of anaerobic digestion projects.
Stuart started his investment banking career at UBS in 2004. He has a degree in Chinese from Durham University.
